| The main goal of The Willanette Valley Truffle Festival is to spotlight Trends in Truffière cultivation of tubers both European in historical (Pèigord, Bianchetto, et al) nature and Oregon Specific tubers, (Oregonense, Oregon Spring White Truffle, Oregon Black Truffle, and the Oregon Brown Truffle) truffles cultivated by the Truffières in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Along with highlighting the pairing of Wine from the Willamette Valley Oregon as well. Thoughout the weekend we will have seminars for Chef/Recipe development and Truffle cultivation. As well as species testing and validation of cultivated and foraged truffles to assure species accurancy. Target Attendees of this festival are A) Chefs, Caterers, and Restauranters wanting to expand their use of a fresher product. B) anyone interested in the cultivation of truffles from small to large orchards, & C) Media interested in the cultivation of truffles within the Willamette Valley Oregon. | ||
